![]() As far as I can tell and from looking around a bit, (spoilers of course) the only thing that matters is if you keep the girl fed at the end, and at least it seems only the end. There are two endings and and its incredibly easy so long as you play with any bit of good faith to get the worse ending, (almost 70% have the achievement for the good ending while the bad ending is just shy of 35%). Very short experience, with an amazing aesthetic, unfortunately I think it falls flat with having little to no interaction and it feeling as though the "Your Choices matter" line near the beginning is very much a lie. Other than that, as Incisor Studio's first game this was a treat I hope they create more soon. I wish the game was a bit longer so we can get attached and learn more about the characters, also I would have liked to see more mini-game to make it more challenging to earn we food found and to make it harder to choose who we feed. Furthermore, I like how even in an apocalypse, there is some comforting moment to listening to music, beating up the trash bins for food, and getting to know our little demon friend. ![]() I enjoy the appeal of the realistic background and object along with the 2D character with the muddy colour red and blue palette which fits the setting of this game. Love how Del just decided to adopt Barrett and make it her mission to protect it at all cost, I'm sure many animals lover and owners would adore owning a demon as their child (I surely did). Positive about Fostering Apocalypse, but with a bit of spoiler? The premise of rescuing a baby demon in a post-apocalypse outland from a cultist to use it to once again create another apocalypse is so compelling to me (I hope we see a movie like, but with the same character of course). Barrett is no more than a child, and those left in the world are either out to get her, or to control her. On an average patrol, Del spots a pillar of fire in the distance and the source of it can only be one thing: demons have been summoned once more. She's hardened by this dead world, but something softer lies beneath her violent exterior.ĭespite the destruction of it all, there are those in the end of the world who feel that perhaps the first time didn't quite take. You play as Del, a bruiser who patrols the wastes in her truck. The wastes are harsh, and camaraderie is hard to come by. The world has been lost to a demon apocalypse, the remnants of this devastation staining the landscape and leaving mere dozens of people alive. ![]() A half-hour long narrative game with survival gameplay elements and two endings. The demon summoned to embark this second apocalypse is only a child, and a woman who has lost it all resolves to save her. The world has ended once before, and there are those who aim to end it again.
